Price comparison: 1 week General Italian course
Standard Italian Course
Students will undergo Italian grammar and conversation lessons for 3-4 hours per day from Monday to Friday for a minimum of 2 weeks.
The daily lesson is divided into two parts, with two different teachers: the first part is dedicated to grammatical, syntactic and phonetic analysis, and the second part is to the use of the language (speaking, reading, listening, writing) and vocabulary. In about six months the student will complete a program that will allow him to deal with the most varied communication situations.
Intensive Course
By taking the Intensive course with StudioItalia, you will receive 20 structured and carefully planned lessons per week, which will put you on track to developing a good connection with your teachers and your colleagues. Whether in the free time this course affords you, or through the extracurricular activities organised by the school, you’ll be able to spend plenty of time using your rapidly improving Italian language skills out and about in Rome.
Students are expected to do most of the talking in class, rather than the traditional method of constant teacher instruction. Instead, the teacher is there to guide the class through interactive and engaging activities. One of the most important skills in learning a second language is not being embarrassed to make mistakes, and with students leading the way in these courses, you’ll be able to build that confidence.
Even so, students can still expect to cover a reasonable amount of content concerning grammar and vocabulary.
By attending the Intensive Course at StudioItalia, international students have 4 lessons of Italian language lessons per day, so as to ensure a consistent practice of the Italian language as well as to create a strong relationship between teachers and students. The Italian language lessons also give students the possibility to explore Rome and experience the Italian culture. This course is definitely one of the most popular language programmes provided by StudioItalia in Rome.
The Italian Lessons are student-centered, which means that students are the focus of the lesson and speak more than teachers, who supervise, give insight and food for thought. Students quickly get used to taking risks in speaking and overcoming fears of making mistakes in public. Topics are chosen in relation to everyday situations so that students are more motivated and willing to learn.

Your tuition fees cover the costs of social activities organised by your teachers for you and your group, except in cases where there are significant costs such as eating out or attending the theatre.
