General English Morning
The General English courses provide a great opportunity to study English, either online or while living in the UK or Ireland for as long as you need.
With our range of locations and accredited courses, you can choose to learn English in the busy cities of London and Dublin, or in the relaxing (and sunny) seaside town of Eastbourne. If you are not ready to travel yet, you can also study English with Twin online by joining one of our live online classrooms.
Our General English course is aimed at increasing your confidence in using the language on a daily basis so that you are comfortable in an English-speaking environment, whether this is socially, for work, for travel or for study.
We want you to have the best experience while studying with us, whether you do so for a short, or long-term.
While improving your English language skills at any of our Twin Centres, you will be enjoy a learning experience based on project based learning as well as a communicative teaching method.
If you choose to enrol for longer term study in either our UK or Dublin English Centres, you can experience more of the culture, and you will have more time to practise your English while sight-seeing and socialising with other students.
We also offer the option to gain some work experience whilst improving your English language skills with internship placements as a separate service. Our award-winning team can help you find the right work experience, creating the perfect environment for you to practise the skills that you have learned on your longer term English course.
All our English courses are supported by our Twin e-learning platform where students have access to various study materials and all of their course work.
Part-time: General English
The goal of this part-time course is to improve your key English skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening, and improve your confidence when using English outside the classroom.
Our part-time English course is great if you need to study around your work timetable and the flexibility of lessons means that even shift workers will be able to find a class to suit them. If you are keen to improve your skills but can’t commit to full-time study, then part-time English could be the course for you.
Home Tuition 15
It is the most effective way to make rapid progress: you live with your teacher who will give you private language lessons and correct you at all times. It completely immerses you in the language you are learning as you put into practice what you have learnt during your lessons through social interactions and meal times with your host.
The Home Tuition Programme includes: • 15 hours private language lessons per week • Accommodation in your teacher’s home • Meals and social interaction with your host
Choose the number of language lessons you require and personalise your Programme according to your needs, interests and preferences with a multitude of options and specialisations to choose from. Some things cannot be learnt by studying in the traditional way, fluency is achieved through living the language, using the target language constantly and in your everyday life. Culture, entertainment, leisure and current events are embedded in people’s language and these are as much part of the language learning process as the lessons.
