Our junior English language programme is specifically designed for the young learner and caters for different ages and levels according to the Common European Framework of Languages. Our courses also adhere to the Ministry of Education standards and the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) monitoring board.
Classroom time is made up of 20 lessons (15 hours) per week, Monday to Friday, and lessons primarily focus on improving communication, with the correct use of grammar and the development of vocabulary and pronunciation.
Outside the classroom, our active learning programme encourages students to put into practice the English they have learnt within a fun and informal English-speaking environment.
Our approach to learning English is, the more the language is actively practised, the sooner the student will develop the skills and confidence to communicate. This works best in an international environment in which English is used every day and not exclusively within class teaching time.
On the first day, students take part in a placement test and are allocated according to the appropriate course level. Students are regularly monitored and graded by their teachers and at the end of the course they are presented with the official school certificate. The school’s grading system is based upon the specifications of the universal Common European Framework levels.
All teaching materials are provided by the school; students need to bring their own notepad and writing instruments, and can bring their own dictionary (but it is not required).

Maltalingua's junior English language programme is specifically designed for young learners and caters for different ages and levels according to the Common European Framework of Languages. The courses also adhere to the Ministry of Education standards and the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) monitoring board.
Classroom time is made up of 20 lessons (15 hours) per week, Monday to Friday, and lessons primarily focus on improving communication, with the correct use of grammar and the development of vocabulary and pronunciation.
Outside the classroom, the active learning programme encourages students to put into practice the English they have learnt within a fun and informal English speaking environment.
Maltalingua's approach to learning English is, the more the language is actively practised, the sooner the student will develop the skills and confidence to communicate.
