In addition to learning French or English, the programme aims to prepare students for their post-secondary education by introducing them to different fields of study through project-based weekly themes.
Students will be introduced to the world of health, business, art, fashion, politics, technology and so much more. The Young Achievers programme is 24 Lessons per week (General F/E + 4 Special Focus). This programme is ideal for students who have completed their secondary studies, are taking a gap year and want to improve their French or English skills or both.
We will introduce our students to many of our Canadian pathway partners. We will hold regular webinars for our students to attend. Our pathway manager will also speak to our students about the many different options available if they choose to pursue their studies in Canada.
The Young Achievers programme will include a 4 lesson per week special focus class. The class could be:

Summer Camp (10 to 17 years old)
Toronto
This course includes activities (Monday to Friday), excursions (Saturdays), TTC pass, medical insurance and a 3.5 day trip to Eastern Canada (Ottawa, Quebec & Montreal). The course does not included any meals during Eastern Canada trip and lunch outside school.A single room is available at an extra fee of CAD 50 per week.Mornings will consist of 4 lessons of the ESL fundamentals class. ESL fundamentals teach all the skills required to obtain English language proficiency, such as vocabulary, reading, writing, grammar, and oral skills. The course content and emphasis on certain skills will vary based on each level. During the activities and outings, students are encouraged to learn English in different Canadian settings. Students are presented with a certificate after successful completion, and will have the ability to speak easily with native speakers.
The program provides a full itinerary of exciting events in the afternoons after class, as well as on weekends.

Breakfast and dinner are covered every day in the program (except when on weekend trips or on the 3.5 Eastern Canada/New York City trip). Lunch is provided only when on the school. Students will eat lunch in the MIA Homestay families or the residence advisor will prepare breakfast and dinner. On trips outside of Toronto, students will have their meals at restaurants or cafes nearby.
