This course combines English language learning with the study of all aspects of filmmaking; including film history, script writing, acting and production. Students visit iconic film locations, studios and other industry-related venues.
Each week students will have:

8 Special Interest Group lessons in Cinema, TV and Popular Culture
NOTE: the twelve-week course includes the production of a short film and a red carpet screening of the finished project.There are three 12-week sessions and three 4-week sessions of this program held each year.

Assessment:
- Assessment is based on weekly assignments, group participation, and tests.

English Plus Filmmaking
New York
Gain hands-on experience writing, shooting, directing and editing three short film projects. In this 8-week program, you will participate in the Intensive English course (30 lessons per week) from weeks 1-4 to help improve your English and fluency. In weeks 5-8, you will study at New York Film Academy in an intensive Filmmaking workshop and have 2 options: 16mm film or digital film.Additional registration fee: USD 125.
Additional fee payable to the NYFA (New York Film Academy): USD 752.
Proof of high school graduation is required. New York City, home to so many famous movies that you feel like you know the city before you arrive and it is true, New York City is a living, breathing film set. With this unique program you can earn 4 credits recommended for transfer from New York Film Academy in their intensive Filmmaking workshop.
First, spend 4 weeks in Intensive 30, and then attend New York Film Academy for 4 weeks where you will gain hands-on experience writing, shooting, directing and editing three short film projects, or acting for film. No previous experience is necessary.

Through this program, students will learn the principles of digital marketing, creating content, digital marketing strategy, and the difference between inbound and outbound marketing.
